Kickstarter UI Flowchart

When I was wondering what app to use for a UI flowchart, I wanted to go with something simple. I was so wrong when I chose the Kickstarter app. There are so many intricate UI details within the Kickstarter app. Its Menu screen had so many different options and so many different ways to access different areas of the app. After using a variety of apps, I think I appreciate Kickstarter's the most. Yes, it has a lot of options, but on a phone, it's very easy to scroll and look for the exact option you want. I'm not sure if this would work very well on a pc when you have a mouse, or even worse a touchpad. But this is why UI developers have to consider what kind of devices its users will be using when accessing their data.

The Discoverability of a Mouse

There are many types of mice on the market, the one I prefer the most is the Razer Deathadder. This mouse has many different functions. Let's start with the buttons that most every mouse has. First, you have the left click button which is typically used to select items on the screen. Second, you have the right-click button that usually shows options of certain items. Lastly, you have the scroll wheel that scrolls through pages. The other buttons that the DeathAdder has also have unique functions. The higher, smaller button sets the DPI higher, while the lower button sets the DPI lower.  The two buttons on the side can be programmed to really anything you want them to do. Typically people set the top left button to push-to-talk. The bottom right button is used for a wide variety of buttons.
